The Windows «system notifications area», a.k.a. «system tray», was eventually designed to be a uniform place for helpful information. However, in fact, it's not very useful now; only a couple of colorful icons not related to the system make it look pretty.
There is only one really useful thing in the tray; namely, the clock, you know. But can you twist any use from the tray clock besides just showing clock? Of course, you can: just use Weather Alarm Clock, and your tray will become colorful, useful, and informative.
First, your boring default Windows clock will change to stylish one that can «wear» skins. You can select a skin from dozens and dozens.
Besides just showing current time, date, and day of week, the clock will show your local weather (nebulosity and temperature), right in the tray. You can easily customize the look and units to be used for your weather report, as well as your location and time how frequently the weather is to be checked (Weather Alarm Clock uses a very reliable weather.com service.) There are even more cool things in the program. The totally customizable alarms system and atomic clock synchronization are things not to be told much about — they are useful, but usual. On the other hand, the Time Zones feature is quite unique:
With this feature, you can see date and time in other places. For example, if you are in California, and your partners are in Budapest, it would be great help to always know, what time and date are now in Budapest.
